The intention

A retreat can be a reset, a deep practice week, a softer landing after safari, or the heart of a longer Zanzibar journey. We build each one around real teachers, generous time, and the kind of island days that let people breathe again.

Meet the teachers

Several teachers, one retreat rhythm.

Every retreat is teacher-led. Depending on the format, the program can combine Nina's mindful yoga, Awham's all-level vinyasa and Thaivedic bodywork, plus guest practitioners and local hosts.

Choose the rhythm that fits.

Start with one of our ready-made retreat formats, then let us tune the dates, teacher mix, excursions, rooms, and safari extensions around your group.

The best retreat does not ask everyone to move the same way. It creates enough structure to feel held, and enough space to return to yourself.
Practice menu

Movement, stillness, and bodywork.

The retreat program can lean energetic, restorative, therapeutic, or expedition-led depending on the teacher and the group.

01

Vinyasa for all levels

Dynamic, breath-led sequences with options for beginners, returning students, and experienced practitioners.

02

Hatha Yoga

Mindful alignment, conscious breathing, and steady practice that builds awareness without rushing the body.

03

Yin & restorative evenings

Long-held postures, soft props, meditation, and deep release after ocean days or safari travel.

04

Thaivedic bodywork

Hands-on therapeutic sessions that support recovery, nervous-system rest, and a more grounded retreat experience.

How it can flow

From one week to a full journey.

Use these as starting points. We can keep the retreat simple and coastal, build it around safari, or create a private program for your dates.

3-4 days

Private coastal reset

A compact program with morning practice, bodywork, nourishing meals, and slow afternoons by the sea.

7 days

Reset week

Daily practice, one or two workshops, optional excursions, and enough empty space to actually rest.

10 days

Practice + island immersion

A deeper week with Stone Town, spice farms, reef days, or village experiences folded gently into the rhythm.

14 days

Yoga & safari journey

The flagship route: Zanzibar practice days, five days of Tanzania safari, then back to the ocean to close.

Our first flagship Yoga & Safari Journey departs early December 2026, while private and coastal reset formats can be shaped around your dates.

A day in the life

Held structure, open space.

A typical coastal retreat day. Safari days and private programs shift the rhythm, but the balance stays the same: practice, nourishment, and unhurried time.

Optional meditation, tea, or a silent walk before the island wakes.

  2. 7:00

    Morning practice

Vinyasa, hatha, or breath-led movement while the air is still cool.

  3. 9:00

    Long breakfast

Fruit, fresh juice, good coffee, and time to settle into the day.

  4. 10:30

    Bodywork or workshop

Thaivedic bodywork, alignment, journaling, philosophy, or a guided excursion.

  5. 13:00

    Shared lunch

Plant-forward, local, and easy to adapt for dietary needs.

  6. 15:00

    Ocean hours

  7. 17:30

    Evening landing

Yin, meditation, sound, or a softer practice to close the day.
